Avalon Springs Farm, Where Color meets fine, natural & exotic fiber!

We are a small farm in Mt. Airy, Maryland.  Our focus is the production of fine fiber and fiber art.  We have Angora Goats, Alpacas, Llamas, Peacocks and Rare Chickens.  We have a large enough group of animals to be agricultural, but a small group for them to be friends too.
Karen has an M.Ed in Art Education and 12 yrs. of public school art teaching experience.  However, she is now at home with children and too much to do – and loving it.  So the family, farm and fiber-art have become a full-time endeavor.
Our products are all exotic fiber blends, both naturally colored and hand-dyed.  We sell fleece and locks; roving in many color-ways; and yarns in multiple weights, textures and colors.
