First, the name Feistywoman came from my inability to tacitly follow the rules. From an early age, I questioned the nuns in school and the rules at home, earning myself a reputation as a black sheep (quite fitting for a fiberholic, don't you think?)

I’ve been spinning for over 30 years and knitting for as long as I can remember. I’m completely addicted to color and fiber and am at my best when in the outdoors enjoying the peace and natural rhythms around me. From these two touchstones I draw the inspiration for my fiber, yarns and finished pieces. My Posy Toes sock batts are my best interpretation of the many variations and combinations of color that Mother Nature incorporates into her world.

Quality is important to me. I feel that, if you're going to spend a lot of time creating something, your materials should be the best you can acquire. I use top quality fibers in my yarns, and spin the best possible yarn for your project. Visit my shop at http://feistywomandesigns.etsy.com
