The San Luis Valley Folk Art and Fiber Festival starts the month before with a juried, national exhibit and culminates in workshops, music, food, contests and vendors in Marsh Park, in Monte Vista, Colorado. We have enjoyed great support from the city of Monte Vista as well as the Monte Arts Council, Alamosa Music Association, the Colorado Council on the Arts and many other local groups.

Every year we raffle off a spinning wheel and hold competitions in spinning, knitting and dyeing competitions! Parts of the proceeds from the raffle go towards a scholarship for a Fibers student at Adams State College.

We hope that you'll join us as a visitor, as an artist, instructor and/or workshop participant in beautiful Southern Colorado. The weather is fine and the fiber is finer!
