When you use a skein of yarn, the garment you make with it becomes a story: who you made it for, why you chose your colors and patterns, and the finished project all become part of that story. I like my yarns to come with their own story, so I created my shop, Storied Yarns (http://storiedyarns.etsy.com). Every skein of yarn I dye or paint was inspired by a character I have met in a book, film, or t.v. show. These characters have inspired me, as I hope my yarns will inspire you. My yarns are all hand-dyed by me in my smoke-free, pet-free home, and I use only professional acid dyes in my process. I am happy to create a custom colorway based on your favorite characters, too!
